She considered herself very lucky.
She was one of the first to look upon the ancient ruins.
As she traveled further in, she noticed strange runes decorating the walls. They lead her to what must be the center of the ruins and to her surprise found a peculiar sight. Where runes used to be on a single pillar was instead an odd arrayment of black lines that swirled in the center.
Curiosity led her to touch the center of the swirl and before she could scream, a light enveloped her from the swirl.
Moments later, nothing could have suggested any signs that she had been there. Perhaps, she had not been so lucky to find those ruins after all...
